When booking a tour with Agelgil, travelers are required to confirm their reservations by making a deposit. Typically, this deposit ranges from 30% to 50% of the total cost, and it must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance is expected a set number of days before the tour begins. Agelgil accepts multiple payment methods, including bank transfers, credit and debit cards, and mobile payment options, to make the process convenient for both domestic and international clients.
In the event that a traveler must cancel their booking, Agelgil requires that all cancellations be submitted in writing. Refunds are issued based on how early the cancellation is made. A full 80% refund is granted for cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour. If canceled within 15 to 29 days, a 50% refund will be issued. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 15 days prior to departure are non-refundable. However, in special cases such as natural disasters or public health emergencies, Agelgil may offer flexible rescheduling or partial refunds at its discretion.
We highly recommend that all travelers secure comprehensive travel insurance prior to their trip. This should cover personal accidents, emergency medical expenses, lost luggage, and trip cancellations. While Agelgil takes great care to ensure safe and smooth travel, having insurance adds an extra layer of protection and peace of mind for our clients.
Travelers are also responsible for ensuring they meet all health and medical requirements before travel. Certain parts of Ethiopia may require vaccinations or extra health precautions, and it is the traveler’s duty to comply with those guidelines. In addition, each traveler must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond their travel dates. While Agelgil can provide support in applying for Ethiopian visas, we are not responsible for visa denial or delays.
Due to weather conditions, road issues, or unforeseen events, Agelgil may need to adjust the tour itinerary. We strive to minimize disruptions and provide alternative experiences of equal value when necessary. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding in such situations, as the safety and satisfaction of our clients is our highest priority.
Agelgil is committed to delivering the services described in our tour packages. However, we are not liable for any loss, damage, delays, or injuries that result from third-party providers or conditions beyond our control, including transportation strikes, civil unrest, or natural disasters. Clients are also expected to behave respectfully toward local cultures, laws, guides, and fellow travelers. Agelgil reserves the right to terminate a tour for any individual whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or unlawful—without offering a refund.

In the event of a dispute related to your tour experience or booking, the matter will be governed by Ethiopian law. If necessary, resolution will proceed through mediation or the Ethiopian court system.
